The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA), in compliance with Section 511 of the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998, has developed its PHA Annual Plan for the period beginning Oct. 1, 2021. The Plan is largely focused only on its use of Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8).

With the MDHA offices closed to the public during the COVID-19 crisis, the Plan has been posted for public view on MDHA’s website. Click here to review the Plan.

Anyone interested in submitting a public comment may do so via email or mail.

A public hearing on the Plan will be held by MDHA’s Board of Commissioners immediately following the 11:30 a.m. monthly Board meeting Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 701 S. Sixth St. The general public is invited to attend in person. Masks are required. Please contact MDHA Director of Communications with any questions related to the meeting at jberry@nashville-mdha.org.

All written comments received prior to the public hearing as well as all comments presented at the public hearing will be considered before MDHA finalizes the Plan and submits it to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
