MDHA has opened its waiting list for Edgefield Manor, an elderly property located at 525 Shelby Ave. Applicants must be at least 62 years old to qualify.
Please click here for a direct link to the application. Online only applications are now being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be submitted online 24 hours a day. Unlike all other waiting lists, MDHA will keep Edgefield Manor’s waiting list open indefinitely.
The new online only application, which was created in 2018, is more extensive than the previous online only application and will require additional time and information. A valid email address is required, and participants will be notified by email when their application is received.
Assistance with the application will be provided by Catholic Charities of Tennessee from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday during the open application period at their C.E. McGruder Family Resource Center at 2013 25th Ave. North.
Applicants in need of assistance may also stop by the Edgefield Manor management office between 9 and 11 a.m. any Thursday beginning Jan. 17, 2019. The Edgefield Manor management office is located at 525 Shelby Ave.
Anyone needing access to a computer with internet service may visit a public library.
Edgefield Manor is an elderly property with studio and one-bedroom apartments.
