The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, also known as the CARES Act, was recently passed by the United States government to assist communities and neighborhoods that have been impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The CARES Act made Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG-CV), Emergency Solutions Grants Coronavirus (ESG-CV) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Coronavirus funds available to be used to prevent, prepare for and respond to COVID-19. The initial allocations being received by Nashville-Davidson County are as follows:

The draft substantial amendment 3 to the Consolidated Plan and draft Nashville-Davidson CARES Act substantial amendment to its 2019 Action Plan is now available for review and comment until 4 p.m. CDT Friday, June 19, 2020. Members of the public may download copies at the following web address: nashville-mdha.org/consolidated-plan.
