When people think of MDHA, housing is usually the first thing that comes to mind, but our Agency also plays a key role in development for the city of Nashville. In this month’s #MeetMDHA staff spotlight, meet Michelle Scopel, the senior project manager leading the Second Avenue Rebuild. Following the bombing on Christmas Day 2020, MDHA has led the design and construction of the Second Avenue Rebuild on behalf of Metro Nashville. Michelle has been there from day one, pouring her heart into the revitalization of one of Nashville’s most historic streets.
