The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency will open the affordable housing waiting list for Cayce Place on a first-come, first-served basis from noon July 26, 2023, to 3 p.m. July 28, 2023. Anyone currently on the waiting list for Cayce Place will need to reapply.

The Cayce Place waiting list is for the units built prior to the Cayce Transformation. All new subsidized units that are a part of the Cayce Transformation are reserved for current Cayce Place residents.

Cayce Place features one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom apartments. The leasing office for Cayce Place is located at 510 Summer Place in East Nashville.

Applications will be accepted online only and can be submitted 24 hours a day during the open application period at www.nashville-mdha.org. A new version of the MDHA website launched in June, and applicants can find the application by clicking the button on the large yellow banner at the top of the home page that says Apply Now for Housing or clicking Apply for Housing under the Renters tab on the home page during the open waiting list period. The application process remains the same and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.  Applicants will need to register a new username and password and have a valid email address. Once an application is submitted, applicants will receive an email confirming that the application was submitted successfully.

Applicants interested in Cayce Place who are in need of assistance may call the management office at 615-252-2280 (choose option 3 when prompted) between noon and 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

Applicants may also visit public libraries to access a computer. All 21 Nashville Public Library locations have public access computers, and neither an appointment nor a library card are necessary to use them. Applicants can visit the library’s website to find the location closest to them.
