MDHA unveils solar arrays at Parthenon Towers
First-of-its-kind in Tennessee community-owned housing; largest in Davidson County

A rooftop solar energy installation at Parthenon Towers is a first for community-owned housing in Tennessee and will make the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency the Nashville Electric Service's largest solar energy generator in Davidson County. MDHA and partners receive more than $30 million for neighborhood stabilization efforts

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has announced that the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency, in a consortium established with The Housing Fund, Urban Housing Solutions, the Woodbine Community Organization, Pinnacle Financial Partners and Vanderbilt University's Center for Community Studies, has been awarded nearly $30.5 million in new funding.
