The public is invited to comment on the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency's draft of a Substantial Amendment to the 2010-2015 Consolidated Plan and 2010-2011 Annual Action Plan. The proposed amendment reprograms previously allocated funds and redirects their focus toward flood disaster recovery activities. A Public Hearing will be held on June 14, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. at the Metropolitan Courthouse, One Public Square, Nashville, Tenn. A draft of the Substantial Agreement is available by clicking the Amendment to the 2010-2015 Consolidated Plan link on this page. The public may request a copy of the draft by contacting 615-252-8508. All comments on the draft Consolidated Plan must be submitted in writing and received by 4 p.m. on July 2, 2010. The 2010-2015 Metropolitan Nashville-Davidson County Consolidated Plan process began in August 2009 with a series of public meetings to discuss the community development and affordable housing needs of the county. This plan outlines the goals of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) four block grant programs for the next five years:

The Metropolitan Council approved the plan on January 19, 2010, and the plan has been submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for approval. Please click here for the Five Year Plan.
