MicroEnterprise
MDHA assists organizations that provide technical assistance and supportive services to facilitate the creation, stabilization and expansion of microenterprise businesses. Microenterprises are defined as businesses with five or fewer employees, including the owner. Technical assistance includes workshops, consultation and advisory services. Supportive services include childcare, transportation, counseling and peer support programs.

MDHA's microenterprise program, funded by Community Development Block Grant funds, enables low- and moderate-income owners of microenterprises and persons developing microenterprises access to information and resources for their particular circumstances.
