Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Reports (CAPER)
As a recipient of HUD Community Planning and Development (CPD) funds, Metro Nashville must prepare an annual report, which is the CAPER, on the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Act (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOWPA) funds and describe accomplishments for the program year. As the lead agency for administering the Consolidated Plan and these grants, MDHA prepares the annual report on behalf of Metro Nashville. The Nashville CPD program year concludes annually on May 31, and the CAPER must be submitted to HUD no later than Aug. 31 each year. Prior to submittal, MDHA makes the CAPER available for review and comment in accordance with the Citizen Participation Plan and holds at least one public hearing during the comment period.
