1. Memorandum of Agreement with Metro Water Services Collection of Residential Waste from MDHA Property.

The Board is requested to approve the Executive Director or his designated Contracting Officer to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) and Metro Water Services (MWS) for the collection of residential waste, twice a week from MDHA properties.  The cost of services is $467,453 per year and will renew annually for up to five years.

7a. Cherry Oak Apartments (formerly Boscobel IV) Financing.

Board approval requested of the resolution that authorizes the officers of the Board and MDHA to negotiate, execute, deliver, and perform the documents, conveyances, and transactions necessary to finance Cherry Oak Apartments. The include, but are not limited to, condo and ground lease documents, pay in lieu of tax agreements, loan documents, equity agreements, grant agreements, commitment documents, and documents required by HUD.

7b. Cherry Oak Apartments (formerly Boscobel IV, L.P.), Construction Manager GMP, adjusted Architect’s Fee, and Owner Contingency.

Board approval is requested to execute the revised Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) provided by Hardaway Construction and proceed with the construction of Cherry Oak Apartments.  The revised GMP is $26,918,654.39.  Substantial Completion is scheduled September 11, 2023.

  1. Revision to Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Administrative Plan.

Board approval is requested of the amendments to the Agency’s HCV Administrative Plan, which is a requirement of HUD’s first Mobility Demonstration Voucher grant program. MDHA was one of nine PHA’s across the country selected as a lead agency for the Demonstration.
